The Family Activity Resource booklet is a 12 page guide for parents designed to reinforce Kindergarten learning opportunities done at school by providing inspiration and guidance for at home activities.  Suggestions and extension activities are provided to encourage families to talk, read, create and play every day, at home with their children. 

Designed to remind parents that they are their child’s first and best teacher, the guide encourages parents to:

• Follow their child’s lead as they play and discover together.

• Talk and read with their child in their first language.

• Help their child to share and take turns.

• Encourage their child to make choices and decisions.
